(1) A person who wants to work as a social worker and child psychologist should register his name before the local child rights committee as prescribed.
(2) From among the social workers and child psychologists in the list according to sub-section (1), the necessary number of social workers and child psychologists can be appointed to provide services related to child protection at the local level.
(3) The social workers and child psychologists appointed in accordance with sub-section (2) shall work under the direct guidance and supervision of the Child Welfare Officer.
(4) Social workers and child psychologists required by the Juvenile Court shall be appointed from the listed social workers and child psychologists as per sub-section (1).
(5) The appointment process, qualifications, work, duties and rights and conditions of service of social workers and child psychologists shall be as prescribed.
